eing trained in family systems theory and positive discipline, I work closely with parents and teens to help them connect and support each other in the ways they need. My methods help families gain perspective into each other’s viewpoints, which fosters validating and respectful relationships. I hear frequently that parents are unsure of how to respond or support their teens in today’s world. With so much technology, information, and social media, being a teen is much different than when you were that age. Our work together will serve as a space for you to learn about your teen’s world, discuss your challenges with this stage of life, and receive authentic and applicable feedback. Between sessions, you will have the chance to try out suggested methods, and later return to our space where you can process and receive feedback.
