oing through any phase of life can have its tough times. These transitions can influence behavior issues, anxiety, depression, social pressures, family relationships, and more. I believe that going through life transitions at any age can impact and direct the next phase of a person’s life. However difficult these times may be, I believe it can take time and support to explore how each family member can have a voice.
Working with teenagers and their parents is a passion of mine. This unique age of becoming independent can throw a curve ball for the whole family. I like to work collaboratively with the family to see what needs can be met. This includes teen only sessions, parent sessions, and whole family sessions.
My experience working with teens, young adults, and families includes anxiety, Family/Life Transitions, relationship issues, parenting, divorce, blended families, behavioral issues, depression, and peer relationships.
I have received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Texas A&M University, and I have received my Master of Arts in Counseling at St. Edward’s University. I have a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate License under the supervision of David Braham MS, LMFT-S, and I am a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.
